👻 Ghost Chase – How to Play

Your goal is simple: play catch with the ghost! Watch his face closely to catch him: If the ghost is sticking out its tongue, it will hide once you get too close. If the ghost is smiling, you can safely catch him!  There are 5 levels, and sometimes you might need to think outside the box :-)

To play it on mobile, touch somewhere near the ghost and drag your finger to move.

About the Game

This little project was made for LOWREZJAM 2025! It’s inspired by the very first game I ever played—a small Flash game my father made that has sadly been lost to time. In his version, catching the ghost made it cry before being sent to jail… not the nicest ending! With our version, I wanted to bring that memory back, but with a more playful twist: this time, the ghost isn’t your enemy—it just wants to play after being left behind for so long (fitting one of the jam’s themes ☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞).  Also I forgot to add audio even though it is a category that is jugded, I'm sorry :/

The entire project (and all art files) was made at 64×64 pixels as per the jam rules, but is displayed at an upscaled 512×512 to make it easier to play.
